Reports from leading news sources revealed that the ceremony was conducted with no presence of a priest.

Kshama Bindu previously shared that she will be getting married at a temple, following all Hindu rituals. However, she was not allowed to do so as she was resisted by BJP leader Sunita Shukla on the grounds that ‘marrying oneself is not sanctioned in the Hindu Religion.’
As per reports from TOI, Kshama she performed all her rituals and dedicated her mehendi to herself. She wrote, “Just a girl who care enough to try.”
Reports claim that as the BJP leader resisted on the idea of marrying oneself, the priest as well as the temple wherein the marriage was set to be conducted, were not available.
