Jio has secretly announced the launch of a new prepaid recharge plan. The new plan is also the cheapest prepaid recharge plan available in the country, among all network providers.

New cheapest plan

It costs Re. 1 and has a 30-day validity period. The cheapest recharge plan is ideal for customers who do not want to overspend on data. Furthermore, at the time of writing, the recharge plan is visible on the MyJio app but not on the website.

Jio has also reduced the price of its Rs. 119 prepaid recharge plan, making it the most cheap option among its unlimited plans.

The Re. 1 prepaid recharge plan for Jio comes with 30 days of validity and 100MB of data, as per reports by TelecomTalk. Users will be able to browse the Internet at a speed of 64Kbps after consuming the data.

Other network providers

Apart from Jio, no other network provider in the country now offers a prepaid recharge plan for less than Re. 1 at present time. As mentioned earlier, this plan is ideal for consumers who do not want to pay for more data than they need.

At this time, there is no announcement on how many customers will be able to recharge using this plan.
