Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez’s assets have been seized by the Enforcement Directorate about the ongoing money laundering case of conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. A total of Rs 7.2 worth of assets has been attached on Saturday.

As per the sources from the latest development of the case, “Conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar has been accused of money laundering worth Rs 200 crore. Actress Jacqueline Fernandez who is a suspect in the case had received expensive gifts from Sukesh. The ED has now attached her assets worth Rs 7.12 crore including her fixed deposits about the case. She may be called for questioning again.
Sukesh Chandrashekhar and Jacqueline Fernandez had been in touch with each other since 2017. According to reports, Jacqueline had told the ED that she never met him again after Sukesh was arrested in 2021. As per details, Sukesh had told Jacqueline that he was the owner of Sun TV and belonged to a political family of Jayalalithaa. She further admitted that Chandrashekhar had given a loan to her sister worth $1,50,000 and her brother was given Rs 15 lakh.
According to a handwritten love letter that was released by Chandrasekhar reads, “as I have mentioned before, Jacqueline and I were in a relationship . seeing each other and the relationship was not based on any kind of monetary benefits like the way it is protected , commented and trolled in a bad light. The relationship had lots of love and respect for each other without any expections. I have gifted her things and done things for her family are normal things, one would do for his loved one in a relationship. It is personal, I don’t understand why it is being made such a big deal.. At the same time I would like to again certain that none of it proceeds of so called crime. It is all from legitimate earnings and the same would be provided to the court of law very soon.”
As per reports, some of the gifts that she received include – Gucci, Chanel handbags, pair of louis Vuitton shoes and diamond earings, a horse and a persian cat.
