International travellers from Omicron affected Nations mandated with 7 days of quarantine in Assam.
On December 31, Assam Health Minister Keshab Mahanta said that those who are travelling from Covid affected nations will have to be home quarantine for 7 days.
He further added that during those seven days they will be tested twice for Covid-19.
Omicron In Assam
Till now there are zero Omicron cases in Assam even though travellers from other nations have tested positive and their genome sequencing tested negative for Omicron.
