Recently, the Indian Railways shared a few photos and videos of snow covered railway stations creating a huge online buzz.
As heavy snow covered towns, the India Railways also shared mesmerizing photographs of trains stations.
Snowfall photos from several tourist destinations such as From Kashmir to Himachal Pradesh are already making rounds on the internet. Netizens are loving this mesmerizing view amidst growing cases of Covid-19.
Indian Railways thus joined in the trend
As such snow covered photos were already covering the internet Indian Railways also decided to join in.
The Ministry of Railways, while sharing a video of a train entering snow-covered Sadura Railway Station at Baramulla in Jammu and Kashmir, shows how the freezing cold is not hampering its services.
Also, the ministry shared another video of the Kalka-Shimla rail route, showing a toy train passing through a tunnel.
Explaining the significance of the location, the ministry said the video shows the iconic tunnel number 91 near the Taradevi station, which is on the UNESCO-declared heritage Kalka-Shimla route.
Netizens were mesmerized by the views and couldn’t believe that these were from India. They commented “Looks like a country from Europe,” commented one user, while another added, “This is a heavenly experience”.
Netizens also said it was straight out of a fairytale. The Indian Railways also shared a video of how it maintains its tracks in severe weather.
