An Indian Army personnel was caught in a honeytrap by a Pakistani woman and allegedly leaked information related to the arm forces. The personnel has been arrested on the 21st of May 2022 by the Rajasthan Police.

The Indian Army Personnel has been identified as Pradeep Kumar who was stationed at Jodhpur. As per reports, the personnel came in contact with a Pakistani woman via social media who misguided Pradeep with her identity as a Hindu woman. The woman gave her identity as Chhadam who is resident of Gwalior, working for a corporate in Bangalore.
As per reports from India Today, the Army man arrived at Delhi at the pretext of marriage and revealed all confidential information to the woman. The woman has been reported to have been working for Inter Services Intelligence. They were in contact with each other for almost six months.
Umesh Mishra who is the DG revealed that many images on WhatsApp were exchanged between both parties and that it seemed as if the Army man was merely used as a scapegoat.
