India will host the first-ever Yogasana Championship in June 2022 and the National Yogasana Sports Federation (NYSF) will work on the fitness, growth and well-being of Yogasana.

The NYSF president Udith Sheth declares at the opening ceremony of India’s first National Yogasana Sports Championship that the upcoming Championship in India will help in the well-being of the people and develop a creative culture.
Federation seeking Govt. funds
NYSF seeks government incentives and support for the upcoming Championship. Udith Seth said, “we are grateful to the government of Odisha for their overwhelming support in hosting the Yogasana Championship…” and Yogasana is also added in Khelo India Game for both Men and Women category.
