India so far has seen quite a jump in the number of covid-19 cases in recent days. A total of 1274 new cases have been reported in the country today. Although the number has increased to almost 90 per cent since the last few months, the overall rate has decreased since Monday.
India’s active Covid cases
According to the health minister’s report, the active cases in the country is 11,860 which is quite high. Although the recovery rate has increased as many people are now vaccinated but the sudden increase in the active cases has raised a lot of eyebrows.
As per reports, the daily rate of positive cases in India stands at 0.31 % and weekly rates stands at 0.34 per cent.
In the National capital of the country, New Delhi reported 7.72 per cent increase in the rate of positive cases since Monday and a fresh 501 new cases. Earlier today the country had seen over a seven per cent increase in the positive cases since January.
Although the number seems big but on a larger picture, a drop of 43 per cent has been observed in the country so far.
In terms of the reports from Mizoram, the total positive cases have gone to 226271 in the last 24 hours. On Monday, the state reported a fresh number of cases but no fatality has been reported so far.
As the country is gearing up, more tests are conducted and many of them have also recovered. Today recovery rate stands almost at 98 %.
