Amitabh Bachchan, host of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) season 13 played peacemaker between a contestant and her father, on the episode telecasted on Monday, October.
The contestant who participated in the show was Bhagyashree Tayade of Jalgaon, Maharashtra who told Amitabh Bachchan after her marriage, how her father refused to speak with her.
Parents against daughter’s marriage
When the host asked her about it, Bhagyashree further said that her father had not even met her newborn daughter or seen her face. She let it out that her parents were against her love marriage and hence, have not spoken to her since her marriage.
Then Amitabh asked Bhagyashree to look into the camera and convey a message to her father, who might be watching the show. Bhagyashree apologized to her father with tears in her eyes but did not reveal what he was miffed about.
Father supports daughter; wishes her well
Amitabh then gave her a surprise saying her father was on the line, over a phone call he made them talk to each other. Bhagyashree’s father said that while things weren’t going well between the two, his good wishes are with her.
He told her to play the game without any tension and with a calm mind moreover, he shared his greetings with her husband.
However, she got overwhelmed by it all and said that only an appearance on Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 could have fixed her relationship with her father. She appeared for the personal interview for KBC while she was 9 months pregnant as the show was so important for her.
Daughter wins ₹12.5 lakh
KBC 13 contestant Bhagyashree won ₹12.5 lakh and could not answer the question for ₹25 lakh and decided to quit the show.
Amitabh Bachchan has returned to host for the 12th time in KBC. Except for the third, he has hosted all seasons of the show, at that time Shah Rukh Khan hosted the show.

Apart from KBC, Amitabh Bachchan was busy working on Mayday, Brahmastra, Jhund, Good Bye, and The Intern remake.
On Mayday, he will be seen with Rakul Preet Singh and Ajay Devgn. In Good-Bye, he plays the role of Neena Gupta’s husband, while in Ayan Mukherji’s action fantasy Brahmastra, he has a special role with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead.
He took over Rishi Kapoor’s role in The Intern after his death last year. The film is a remake of the Hollywood hit starring Anne Hathaway and Robert DeNiro.
