Dima Hasao health workers suspended by the Joint Director of Health Services of Assam. The nine health workers were from the PHC in Halflong.
Health Workers suspended in Dima Hasao
As per reports, the workers have been suspended due to negligence in work field as well as irregular in performing their duties. A total of nine workers have been suspended until an enquiry of the department is completed.
As per reports, the people who have been suspended, include – one MBBS doctor, two pharmacists, four nurses and two grade IV workers of health centre.
The reports further state that the doctors who were posted in Dima Hasao prefer to work in Haflong and no where else. This results in the deterioration of the medical facilities in the rural areas of the district.
