Assam: Government decides to appoint Guest faculty in Govt. Schools

The Government of Assam, as per the Assam Cabinet Decision on December 17, has taken the decision to appoint guest faculty in govt. schools. This measure is aimed to provide students with better knowledge and widen their horizons.

The service period for the Guest Faculty will be One Academic year.

The Guest Faculty have been directed to be nominated by Alumni Associations, NGOs, etc.

Pre-Matric Scholarship

Recently, the State government also announced scholarships for students of classes I to VIII. The Pre-Matric Scholarship for ST (Plain) and OBC students in Class I to VIII has been designed to encourage children to continue their education without obstacles.
