A brewery from Singapore is taking beer making to the next level by using urine and sewage for alcoholic beverages. This is suppose to be the greenest beer.
Singapore’s urine beer
As per reports from Live Mint, the beer, NewBrew is made out of recycled liquid from sewage, filtered and pumped into Singapore’s water supply.
As per reports, the main source ingredient is NEwater which is itself a purified liquid that is made from sewage of more than 20 years. This water then goes through several stages of filtration which makes the water safe to drink.
The country now has the ‘urine beer’ launched in several of its shops and beers. The country has started to come up with innovative issues to solve the problems of water scarcity in the country.
