Various companies came for recruitment

Recruiters from Mohima Tea Estate, Vishal Mega Mart, Hyundai, Dubori Group, Nabajagaran Associates, SBI Life Mitra, Halmira Tea Estate etc put up their stalls.

Everyone was given a registration form. They can submit the form in whichever stall they wish.

While talking to one of the attendees, he said, “I came at around 9.30 am to make a queue. The number of people that gathered here are 10 times more than the number of job openings. We are thankful that the Govt has taken the initiative to organize such Job fairs.”

Further he added, “In places like Golaghat rarely do we see any job fair. So, initiatives like this will be very much helpful for the unemployed. Covid-19 pandemic has led to an increase in the number of unemployed youths. So, if Govt.  organizes such Job Mela or Job Fair on a regular basis then this will really help to decrease the number of unemployed in the states.”
