According to information, students from Gauhati University tests covid-19 positive.
After the health department’s instruction, the university issued a notice a few days back that covid test will be conducted among the students of the university.
20 students found positive
As per reports, almost 20 students by now have been tested positive from different hostels. RT-PCR tests were conducted.
The students are believed to be from hostel RCC6, RRC5, AT2, AT3 and AT-9.
The students found positive have been shifted to hospital.
All semester classes of Gauhati University including PG and undergraduate courses started from October maintaining all existing Covid-19 protocols.
