A tragic accident case in Deoghar Ropeway has been reported from Jharkhand, near the Baba Baidyanath Temple. Cable cars collided, leaving behind several of the devotees injured on the occasion of Ram Navami.

The accident witnessed a tragic loss of 2 lives as of now and many more injured. Several people has been rescued safely by the Indian Air Force Operation. As of now,many of them are still stranded on the ropeway. One of the man fell down from the rescue helicopter.
At present there are a total of 4 cable cars that has 14 tourists stranded. The cars collided near the Trikut Pahar, close to the temple in Deoghar. On the occasion of Ram Navami, several tourists arrived to seek blessing.
The chief Minister of Jharkhand expressed his condolences to the families of the dead persons and has ordered for a immediate investigation into the accident. The Chief Minister, Hemant Soren tweeted, “I express my deepest condolences on the incident on Trijut mountain and the deaths in it. There will be a high level inquiry into the matter.”
