A group of 15 men, claiming to be Cow Vigilantes lynched a caretaker to death. They suspected the caretaker to have been slaughtering cows. Along with the caretaker, six more people were also injured in the act.

Cow vigilantes lynches man to death
Rajaram who was a caretaker at a Delhi farmhouse was beaten to death by a group of men claiming to be cow vigilantes. Rajaram who was a 40 year old man was physically assaulted at Dwarka Chawla area on Monday. He was seriously injured when taken to the hospital and later succumbed to his injuries.
The arrive arrived at the scene and two FIR’s were lodged. One complaint was lodged by the injured party and other by the locals. Till date, five arrest has been made. All for cow slaughter and not for assault or murder by the cow vigilantes.

Rajaram who is now dead, had apparently called one of the injured men to slaughter cows, the reports read. But the family has denied such allegation and said it was conspired against by the locals. The wife said, “My husband is innocent. All he did for earning extra is selling cow milk to nearby villagers and run a battery rickshaw which was taken on rent.”
The police arrived at the scene after they received information that a group of 5-6 men were slaughtering cows on 10th and 11th April.
As per the reports from the police officials, ” When we reached the spot, we found the men were being attacked. The staff intervened and all the injured people were taken to nearby hospitals. The attack was by cow vigilantes.”
One of the FIR’s stated that Rajaram was often involved in slaughtering cows and called few of his friends to slaughter cows that he used to get from his area. The meat was then sold off at a good price.
After the lynching by a group of men, 5 of the people who were alleged to have been involved in slaughtering cows were severly injured and rajaram who was one of the main suspect in the cow slaughter case died.
