COVID cases recorded 82 from the 963 samples tested on Friday. The State’s Covid positivity rate was 8.5%, informed the Health department.
The district-wise report was 43 cases in east district, 19 cases in west district and 20 cases in south district.
COVID Cases Tallies
With 86 recoveries on Friday, there are now 645 active cases in Sikkim. Among them 36 patients have moderate symptoms and 20 patients are showing severe symptoms.
One more death due to the virus was reported from STNM Hospital. The deceased was a 74-year-old female from Sakyong, West Sikkim, said the Health department.
At present there are 85 patients admitted in hospitals here. Among them 21 patients are in the ICU, informed the Health department.
