Sanjay Dutt, the Bollywood actor who has been appointed by the Arunachal Pradesh government as the state’s brand ambassador, has launched a media campaign as part of the state’s golden jubilee festivities, which mark the state’s 50th anniversary of its name.
Sanjay Dutt’s Media Campaign as Anti-Addiction Advocate
A media campaign promoting Dutt as a young icon, nature lover, and anti-addiction advocate was launched on Monday in the Mechuka valley of Arunachal’s Shi-Yomi district, official sources stated on Tuesday.
Along with Dutt, director Rahul Mittra has been named as the state’s brand advisor.
Arunachal’s Golden Jubilee Festivities- details
The month-long celebrations will begin on January 20, 2022, in Ziro, because it was there that Arunachal Pradesh received its name and Union Territory status in 1972.
The concluding ceremony will take place in Itanagar on February 20, 2022, on the occasion of Statehood Day.
Sanjay Dutt’s statement
“Apun ko bahut bahut khusi hoyele hai k apun Arunachal Pradesh ka brand ambassador hai mamu. Aur apun ye state kabhi chor ke nai jane wale (I am extremely happy that I am the brand ambassador of Arunachal and I am not going to leave this state anytime soon),” said the actor.
