Body of Youth recovered in Beltola
The deceased youth has been identified as Rupjyoti Sarma, who is a resident of Shanti Gram Housing Complex of Jayanagar area.
The body of the youth was recovered from his friend’s place in Udyan area of Beltola.
As per reports, the family alleged, the room was locked from outside when the body of Rupjyoti was discovered.
The owner of the room, Rahul Ali was arrested by the Beltola for his alleged involvement in the case. An investigation into the matter is underway.
The police reports further reveal, Rupjyoti have been suspected to have died out of a drugs overdose, however the exact cause is still not certain.
