A massive violence was carried forward by the BJP party workers outside the residence of the Delhi’s Chief minister. The violence was a result of the protest that been going on against kejriwal’s remarks on the most controversial film of the year, The Kashmir Files.
BJP Violence on Kejriwal
The violence has created an uproar in between the two parties, as the deputy Chief minister of the state alleges that such an act is a culmination to a threat to Arvind Kejriwal. The CCTV camera that were installed captured the entire event on how some of the unruly goons of the BJP party workers has tried to vandalise private property.
The act has caused a fear among the top officials as some say it was a threat to “murder” the chief minister of the national capital.
On the other, the protest leader Tejaswi Surya who is a BJP party member has painted a totally different picture by saying that Kejriwal must issue a formal apology for what he had said about the sufferings of the Kashmiri Pandits.
On 24th of Marcg 2022, Kejriwal on the podium of the legislative assembly had mockingly replied to a BJP MLA who had urged that themovie, The Kashmir Files be made tax free in the national capital. To this, Kejriwal replied, that if the movie is made tax free then why does no the directors put it up on Youtube instead.
The violence that was seen outside the residence had raised concerns among the citizens of india. The AAP has questioned the delhi police on how they could allow the protesters of the BJP to incite violence outside his residence.
Till now, 70 people has been arrested for inciting the violence and many others detained.
