BJP-led Government’s U-turn: APCC president Ripun Bora accuses BJP of ‘Cheating’ rural women over micro finance loan waive off promise

The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president Ripun Bora has responded fiercely to the alleged U-turn of the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) -led government about the poll promise to reduce the micro-finance loan of women debtors in the State.

Earlier the BJP had flipped on the increase of daily wage of the tea garden workers and now they are doing the exact same thing with the women of Assam supported them in the hope that good days will come, Bora stated.

Government will only relinquish loans of those micro-financing institutions which followed RBI guidelines. Now the question occurred that such micro-financing institutions that follow RBI guidelines are actually existing or not.
