The image of the bizarre dish was posted on Facebook by a group called Kolkata Food Trotters. It went viral after a particular Twitter user shared a screenshot of the Potato Chips Curry post with the caption, “Minimum 14 years of rigorous imprisonment for this confession of murder.”
As it’s clear from the pictures, the dish was prepared with potato chips, used in place of meat or vegetables, in what appears to be a tomato-based gravy.
Since it went viral, social media users posted hilarious lines and shared their thoughts over the bizarre dish. Some say “Crime against humanity,” while other user said, “Horrible and interesting at the same time.”
