Bihar: Brahmadeo Mandal, an 84-year-old man from Madhepura district, claimed to have received 11 doses of the Covid vaccine, prompting state health officials to start an investigation.
Mandal was caught in Bihar before receiving the 12th dose
Mandal, a native of Orai village in Madhepura district, was apprehended before receiving his 12th dosage at a local primary health centre. To deceive the health workers, he used many identity cards and the mobile phone numbers of his close relatives.
The first shot was administered to Mandal on February 13, 2021, according to Mandal, who claims to be a retired postal employee. Following that, he had a jab in each of March, May, June, July, and August.
Dosage of Covid Vaccine makes him feel better
He got three vaccinations in September using his Aadhar card, voter identity card, and other documents. He claimed to have received 11 jabs by December 30, 2021. “The government has made a wonderful thing (vaccine),” he explained, explaining why he prefers so many doses.
Mandal claimed to have submitted his Aadhar card and mobile phone number eight times for Covid vaccinations, as well as his voter I-card and his wife’s mobile number three times. He reported that each dosage of the vaccine made him feel better.
