Rajiv Bhawan in Assam turned tense as several leaders of the opposition including Bhupen Borah and others were detained by the police on Monday.
Assam Congress President Bhupen Borah detained
Debarata Saikia who is the leader of opposition and Bhupen Kumar Borah who is the president of Assam Congress Unit were amongst a few leaders who were detained by the Police.
According to reports from Pratidin Time, the police official barricaded the entire area as many protests were scheduled to take place on Monday morning.
The protest turned alarming as several leaders tried to went past the barricade which ultimately led to the detention of the leaders.
