Bhuj: The pride of India; is one of the finest plot which pays tribute and showcases the sacrifice and tolerance and basically features the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. Premiered on 13 August 2021 in Disney+Hostar, includes battle scene which literally gave goosebumps in its action packed war movie.
It starts with the partition story when with the division of East and West Pakistan. It showcases how our Indian armies fought so bravely despite no prior knowledge of them being attacked by Pakistan again and again.
The VFX and the war scene shown especially when Pakistan attacked and destroyed the major roads, airbase as well as sea route blocking every possible route to connect definitely gave us goosebumps. The village women fixing the Bhuj airbase in one night definitely showcases women power and also if work is done unitedly then nothing is impossible.
Acting
The actors in the movie did a phenomenal job. Ajay Devgan the lead star of the movie never fails to impress us with his unmatched talent. Each and every scene shown shows how professionally the shooting and acting is done. There were many successful star cast in the movie playing different roles.
Nora Fatehi work in the movie was mind blowing. She played the role of Indian spy as a sign of revenge as his brother was also murdered by the Pakistani armies when it came to light that he was also an Indian spy, which when reveled in the movie was definitely a plot twist.
She did some amazing action shots which was definitely cherry on the top. When it was known by Pakistan about her identity she was shot dead. Similarly, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha also did an amazing job in the movie.
Direction, screenplay and dialogues
Directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya, this movie had also some messy scenes and some scenes were also too fast. In some parts it was a bit confusing and to understand the movie as properly, full concentration of the audience is required. But the screenplay showed in the movie is really praise worthy.
No one exactly knows how much time and effort is required to shoot a particular scene. From the start to finish the movie was full of action packed scenes and patriotism.
There were many dialogues which definitely give us goosebumps and also in some parts also include some cringe dialogues. Basically it was a mix and match of everything. However, the ending could have been a much lot better.
The songs of the movie are also pleasing. The song Hanjugam is very soothing to the ears while Desh mere gives us some ultimate patriotic feeling, showcasing the emotion of every soldier and love of the country.
Overall, the movie is a powerhouse of multi-starrer pack full of action and fight scenes. The team of the movie has done tremendous job and I suggest to please watch this movie and in no way the hard work of the personalities can be ignored.
The vicious sacrifice of the soldiers and the India Pakistan attack is evident in the movie. It shows the sacrifice of the martyrs is what should always be in our prayers. JAI HIND.
