The incident occurred at National Highway (NH 54) in Barbaha, Hojai District.
According to reports, “the vehicle under the registration number AS 02 AA 1043 attempted to overtake an Army Vehicle but collided with it.”
After the incident, the driver was severely injured. The incident took place when the minister was on his way to the district to look over the flood situation.
