3 SBI ATMs were robbed in Raha of Nagaon district on Monday.
As per reports, thieves had successfully robbed three ATM machines for the first time in Raha area of Nagaon.
About the ATM robbery
The police said that the incident occurred during the early hours of Monday which is around 3:30 am. Further, the police are currently investigating more on the matter.
They are looking for clues in CCTV footage of the ATM’s.
According to the police, the thieves used gas-cutters to execute their robbery. Also, the actual amount looted from the ATM’S is yet to be known.
A similar incident occurred a few days back in Assam’s Bongaigaon district. Two SBI ATMs were looted by a group of men.
More than Rs 40 lakh was looted from the 2 ATMs. They too used gas-cutters to steal money from the devices.
