In a shocking incident, Assam woman sells baby to transgender in exchange of money. The incident has been reported from Chariadeo District of Assam. The baby was reportedly three-days old.
Woman sells baby in exchange of money
The woman has been identified as Banesha Khatun. Reportedly, the woman sold her infant baby to two transgenders in Sivasagar, thus leading to her arrest.
As per police reports, the two transgenders, identified as Pari Dutta, and Kunam Hazarika have also been arrested. Two more persons Julekha Khatun and Jurina Begum were involved, helping the accused make the transaction.
