A son sets mother on fire after an argument heats up between them.
The incident occurred in the Gohaigaon area of Sivasagar. As per the police, the duo was having an argument.
Son sets mother on fire over argument
The man has been identified as Santosh Sahu, who tried to set his mother on fire.
But fortunately, the mother has managed to survive and is presently undergoing treatment at Dibrugarh medical college hospital.
As per reports, she was rescued by the locals and was immediately rushed to the hospital.
The incident took place around 7:30am in morning
Reportedly, the eyewitnesses have confirmed that the incident took place at around 7:30 am.
The mother and son were in a heated conversation. Santosh then in anger set his mother on fire.
Police has arrested the son
Further, as per reports from the police, the mother and son were arguing over the preparation of the death anniversary function of Santosh’s father who died on 5 February.
Notably, the police have arrested the son.
