The Assam Government in the state level recruitment commission department issued a notification for vacant position in the grade III and IV of several department under the Assam Government.
Assam Direct Recruitment 2022
The government of Assam has released a fresh notification for the recruitment process for the available vacant position in the Grade III and IV position respectively.
The process of recruitment will be followed in standard of the newly constructed Assam Direct Recruitment Commission.
All candidates who are interested to fill up the form can do so online.
There are in total 26,441 posts that are vacant. 13141 are vacant in grade iii and 13,300 are vacant in grade iv.
There will be three categories for the above mentioned posts.
The recruitment process will be conducted by Assam Government. The pay scale will be as per the pay band and pay grade followed in Assam.
The eligiblity critieria that needs to be fulfilled are –
Grade III there are three categories ,
- For the post of driver – candidate must have passed HSLC. Must be in the age group of 18 to 40 years of age.
- For the post of Accountant, cashier – the candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree certificate.
- For the post of Field assistant, foreman, section assistant – the candidate must be HSSLC passed or equivalent.
Grade IV category
the minimum qualification that is required is passed class 8 or equivalent or should have passed HSLC . The pay scale will depend on how qualified you are. Rs 9000 for the former and Rs 4300 for the latter.
The candidates must fill up the registration in government employment exchange portal to fill up the application form. They should also have some basic knowledge on computer. The application fee for the OBC category for grade iii and iv are 350 and 250 respectively and for SC and ST it is Rs 250 and 150 respectively.
How to apply ?
one can visit the online portal to register themselves first and then fill the application form. Fill in your details and upload the documents. You wll have to then pay the form fee.
The starting date of application submission is 11 th April 2022 and the last date of application form submission is 30th May 2022.

The selection will be based on competitive exams for different posts. The merit base selection helps in selecting the right candidate.
