Assam Police came in third in Indian Police Foundation’s (IPF) ‘Smart Policing Survey’ 2021.

The Indian Police Foundation IPF conducted a poll in 29 states and union territories across the country to examine the force’s competency, values, and public trust.
Assam is ranked third behind Andhra Pradesh (8.11) and Telangana (7.59) on a scanning behavior to ten (8.10).
Individual criteria such as sensitivity, strictness, and excellent behaviour, accessibility, responsiveness, helpful and friendly policing, fair, unbiased, and lawful policing, and accountability have all ranked the state police people’s purpose of the IPF survey.
The goal of the IPF poll was to gather information on people’ impressions of the SMART policing initiative’s impact, as well as public assessments of the country’s policing quality and public faith in the police.
The study included experts from a variety of universities, including IIT Kanpur and the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Mumbai.
