Why is the Aadhaar card so important?

Aadhaar

Aadhaar is a one-of-a-kind number that can’t be duplicated because it’s connected to a person’s biometrics, allowing for the detection of fraudulent and ghost identities that cause leakages today.

Governments will be able to expand benefits to other eligible people thanks to savings from eliminating duplicates and fakes through Aadhaar-based identification.

It is used by Indians all around the world as confirmation of identification and address.

Benefits of Aadhaar card

Aadhaar is now the world’s largest single identifying initiative.

Advantages include Signing Legal Documents Electronically, Opening A Bank Account, Provident Fund, LPG Connections and Subsidies, Scholarships, Passport Applications, and others.

The district administration has appointed officials for the work

Officers have been appointed by the district government to oversee all declared Aadhaar enrolment centers in the Dhubri district.

The selected authorities have been instructed to visit the Aadhar Enrolment Centers in their respective districts once a week to ensure that the Aadhaar enrolment process is carried out efficiently.

The designated officials have also been advised to maintain contact with the notified verifier to finish the process on time.

In Dhubri district, the district government has allowed 41 Aadhaar Enrolment Centers, divided into eight circles: Dhubri (7), Gauripur (5), Golakganj (4), Agomani (5), Atahni (4), Bilasipara (7), Chapar (4), and South Salmara (5).

Keeping an eye on the work

All Block Development Officers (BDOs) in Dhubri have been asked to supervise the work of designated Aadhaar Enrolment Centres in their respective regions at least once a week, according to the deputy commissioner.

“Anyone violating the stipulated norms shall be informed to the nearest police station to take cases as per law,” said the order.
