The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) released the final exam results for Class 12 (HS) in 2021. At 9 a.m. on Saturday, the council announced the results.

Pass percentage
A total of 1,91,855 applicants registered for the exams in the arts stream, with 58,244 receiving first division scores. A total of 89,520 candidates received second division grades, while 42,029 received third division grades.
A total of 1,89,793 students passed the tests, with a pass rate of 98.93 percent.
Stream-wise result
Science Stream
The Science stream had a total of 38,430 candidates, with 38,068 of them passing the tests.
A total of 32,917 students passed the first division exam, 4609 students passed the second division exam, and 542 students completed the third level exam.
The success rate is 99.06 per cent.
Commerce stream
In the Commerce stream, 18,364 candidates passed the tests out of 18,433. 11189 candidates received first division marks out of the total number of candidates.
A total of 5497 pupils received second division grades, while 1678 students received third division grades.
This year, the pass rate is 99.57 per cent.
Arts Stream
The Art stream had 191855 students. Out of which 58,244 students secured first division, 89,520 students secured second division and 42,029 students secured third division.
The pass percentage is 98.93 percent, respectively.
The Assam government cancelled the exams because of an increase in COVID19 cases across the country. Later, the Board published the evaluation criteria on which the conclusion is based.
The evaluation criteria placed emphasis on marks obtained by students in previous examinations.
