In an another bizarre incident from Assam a 58 years old man rapes a 8 years old minor girl.
The incident took place in Rupohihat of Assam’s Nagaon district.
About the rape
Reportedly, the accused has been identified as Islam Uddin. He allegedly brought the girl to his home by manipulating her and allegedly raped her.
The locals caught the accused Islam Uddin and handed him over to the Rupohihat police.
Recently, in Assam’s Nagaon district another such incident occurred. A six-year-old girl minor girl was murdered for refusing a sexual assault attempt by three boys.
Apparently, the boys were addicted to watching pornographic videos.
Also in North Lakhimpur Police has arrested Uddhab Bharali, an Assamese entrepreneur and Padma Shri laureate, for allegedly raping a minor girl who was in his foster care.
According to the recent National Crime Records Bureau, Assam records the highest rate of crime against women.
The rate of crime against women in Assam was 154.3%, much higher than the national rate of 56.5%.
