Andrew Symonds; former Australian cricketer and 2 time World Cup winner
As per reports, Andrew Symonds was just outside of Townsville in Queensland when the accident took place. The 46 year old former cricketer died on spot.
As per the statements released by the Police department, “early information indicates shortly after 11p, the car was being driven on Hervey Range road, near Alice River Bridge when it left the roadway and rolled. Emergency services attempted to revive the 46 year old driver and the sole occupant however, he died of his injuries.
In the year 2022, Symonds death is the second most tragic death in the Australian Cricket team right after Shane Warne’s death in Thailand from a heart attack.
