The ‘Agnipath Scheme’ has resulted in widespread protest in several states of India. Country’s leading Industrialist Anand Mahindra shared his view on the ongoing situation on his Social Media handle.

He tweeted, “Saddened by the violence around the program. When the scheme was mooted last year I stated and I repeat – the discipline and skills Agniveers gain will make them eminently employable. The Mahindra Group welcomes the opportunity to recruit such talented, trained and capable young people.”
Following the tweet, the industrialist was asked by many users what positions he will hire Agniveers, to which he replied “Large potential for employment of Agniveers in the Corporate Sector. With leadership, teamwork and physical training, Agniveers provide market-ready professional solutions to the industry, covering the full spectrum from operations to administration and supply chain management.”
