A body of an unidentified body of a man has been found lying at the Janata Bhawan bus stand in Guwahati. The body was recovered in the wee hours of today morning.

As per reports from a leading news agency, the body was lying right behind a steel bench. The man was tied on the neck and to the back wall.
The local residents and passersby spotted the body and immediately informed Dispur Police. The incident was reported around 11:30 am today morning.
Till now, no more details have been revealed and further investigation is underway.
A similar incident took place on Saturday when a body of a young boy was tied with his legs was found at an under-construction site in the Bhetapara area.
The deceased, Mithun Das was a resident of Nagarbera. As of now, seven people have been arrested in connection with their alleged involvement.
