Pushpa is dominating box office
As per reports, Pushpa was a big box office hit and still continues its collection at the box office.
An insider said, “The satellite value of the film is higher than the OTT deal. In the case of Pushpa, it is available on OTT not only in one language, but also in four languages - Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. Those who have not watched it in cinemas will now bet on seeing it in the OTT space.“
After the huge success of Pushpa South films are now contemplating to charge a heavy fee for their streaming deals.
“We are seeing an increase in prices from a lot of South studios for the deals post the release of Pushpa. It is quite obvious that everyone else wants to cash in on the success of Pushpa and strike it when the iron is hot,” an OTT player who refused to be named said.
