Russia started to supply the S-400 Triumf air defense systems to India. It is the very first unit, which will be stationing troops near the western front.

An announcement was made by the Director of Russian Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation Dmitry Shugaev in Dubai air show. It says that FSMTC is the Russian government’s main defense export control organization.
• The base and the carriages
According to industry sources, the first parts of the squadron started reaching India and they will be stationed on a location where it can take on threats from both Pakistan and Chinese airspace. The parts of the missile systems are coming both by air and seaways and would be quickly stationed on the assigned places.
The first delivery would be completed by the end of the year. After its installation, the Indian Air Force would start focusing on the eastern front. The IAF would enforce some of the resources for training its personnel within the country also.
