On April 14, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot. The wedding took place at Ranbir’s home Vastu, and the couple chose to keep it low-key.
Close friends and family members were present for the ceremony. Following their wedding, the pair threw a reception for their industry friends on April 16.
Their wedding reception was a memorable evening filled with delicious food, good friends, and good music.
Alia and Ranbir’s wedding celebration included DJ AJ’s curated music.
DJ AJ just spilled the beans on the year’s most anticipated wedding in an interview. He’s performed at weddings for Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja, Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta, and Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas in the past.
DJ AJ claimed in an interview that at the party, he played a combination of English, Punjabi, and Bollywood songs.
The celebration featured songs like ‘Subha Hone Na De,’ ‘Gur Nal Isha Mitha,’ and AP Dhillon singles like ‘Insane,’ and ‘Excuses.’ He described the opportunity to perform for the newlyweds as “amazing.” He further stated that DJing at such events is always fun.
DJ AJ offered warm congratulations to Ranbir and Alia soon after their wedding. He penned, “Congratulations Alia Bhatt and Ranbir! Thank you for making me a part of your special day! #LifeofADJ.”
Moreover, the party was attended by celebs like Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji, and Karisma Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur and more.
Alia Bhatt emphasises her desire to spend her married life with Ranbir
Alia Bhatt (Kapoor), who recently married, shared a series of photos on Instagram in the evening, in which she emphasised her desire to spend her married life with her boyfriend in the most unique way possible.
In her post, she wrote, “With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites.”
We were captivated by the phrase that said, “wine delights and Chinese bites.” as true foodies. And we couldn’t agree more with the wine and Chinese food pairing.
Before we could get over the thought of wine and Chinese snacks, more photos from the modest wedding hit social media, showing the wedded couple raising a toast to their nuptials and cutting the wedding cake.
