Floods in Assam have wreaked havoc in various areas, displacing around 3 lakh people. As a result of the floods, the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has decided to postpone the Assam Class 11 Exams for 2022.
According to reports, the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council Assam Class 11 exams have been put on hold until further notice.
AHSEC 11 Exams 2022 were set to end on June 1
All students’ AHSEC, Assam Class 11 Exams 2022 were set to end on June 1, 2022.
Both SEBA and AHSEC have taken notice of the enormous destruction caused by the Assam floods. AHSEC has suspended Class 11 exams for the safety and well-being of pupils.
“All examinations are suspended till further notice in the worst-hit Dima Hasao area due to loss of surface connectivity, Assam Higher Secondary Education Council Controller of Examinations Pankaj Borthakur said in the statement,” according to the sources.
It should be mentioned that the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, Assam Class 11 exams have been ‘partially’ suspended, according to the same source.
However, this indicates that the papers would be held again once the situation improves and the Assam floods subside.
Furthermore, whenever situations improve, AHSEC is scheduled to announce new Assam Class 11 Exam dates.
According to sources, the Assam floods have displaced approximately 4 lakh people across 26 districts. And moreover, landslides have disrupted road and rail connections in certain places. As a result of the damage to people’s homes in some areas, officials have jumped into action and are attempting to rescue those who have been harmed.
