One person was severely injured due to a landslide caused by a heavy shower in the Northeastern state of Assam which has led to havoc in many people’s lives. Many areas reported mudslides and severe damage was caused to property. The mudslides have been reported from various parts of Assam on the 15th of June 2022.
Landslide in Assam leaves one injured
A person was severely injured in the mudslide after incessant rainfall destroyed a house in Guwahati.
As per reports, the incident took place in Namoni area of Kamakhya, Guwahati.
A person named Moni Dutta has been severely injured and the incident occurred at the residence of Mondeep Mazumdar.
A total of five people have been reported dead, including four construction workers who were buried alive due at Boragaon, Guwahati.
Areas like Nabin Nagar, Anil Nagar, Hatigaon, Zoo road and Chandmari have been submerged in flood for the last 24 hours.
