Jaisalmer: According to sources, an Indian Air Force MiG-21 aircraft crashed in Rajasthan on Friday evening.
What does Jaisalmer SP Ajay Singh says?
“We got information today evening that a MiG-21 aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed in Sam in the area under the desert national park (DNP). The aircraft had taken off from the Jaisalmer Air Base,” Jaisalmer SP Ajay Singh stated.
Singh further said that he was rushing to the scene and that the Air Force had been notified.
“The plane crash was first spotted by a forest guard after which the local police were informed,” the SP stated.
More information on the crash is awaited, according to police, and an Air Force team is on its way to the scene.
