The newly constructed park in Adabari,Guwahati will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on December 24th, 2021 which was built by the Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA).
A site for recreational purpose
The Adabari Park, which is created on the site of the Assam State Housing Board, is around eight bighas in size.
This facility was built for the purpose of recreation and for individuals to spend quality time with their families and friends. It’s big and has a lot of cool features.
Features of the upcoming Adabari park
A groomed garden area, an open-air theatre with a green room that can accommodate 250 people, a meditation hall, and three kiosks are among the park’s remarkable features.
It might include a mural artwork dais, an elegant foundation, a designated children’s section, a separate bathroom block, and a ticket booth.
Given the geology of the site, an existing water body has been kept to hold the park’s run-off water. Adults will be charged Rs 30 while children under the age of 12 will be charged Rs 15.
