Educational Qualification and Eligibility Criteria
Graduate Apprentice:
- A Statutory University’s Engineering or Technology degree in a related discipline.
- A degree in engineering or technology conferred by an institution authorised by an Act of Parliament to grant such a degree in the appropriate discipline.
- Graduate examinations of professional bodies recognised by the state or federal governments as equivalent to those listed above.
- He or she must register in the NATS portal.
- The candidate’s degree/diploma must have been earned during the last three years, i.e. 2019, 2020, and 2021.
Technician (Diploma Holder) Apprentice
- A State Council or Board of Technical Education created by a State Government grants a Diploma in Engineering or Technology in a relevant discipline.
- A university-granted diploma in engineering or technology in a related discipline.
- A diploma in engineering or technology awarded by a state or central recognised institution that is equal to the above.
- He or she must register in the NATS portal.
- The candidate’s degree/diploma must have been earned during the last three years, i.e. 2019, 2020, and 2021.
How to apply
- On or before December 20, 2021 23:59 hours, all interested candidates are requested to register at the NATS portal https://portal.mhrdnats.gov.in/boat/login/user_login.action
- A pool of candidates will be selected from the NATS portal on the basis of merit, i.e., the total marks earned in the appropriate discipline’s degree/diploma.

Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (abbreviated as BCPL) is a government-owned company based in Lepetkata, Assam’s Dibrugarh district. The construction of BCPL, which was included in the Assam Accord as an Assam Gas Cracker Project, was begun on 9 April 2007 by then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, and it was inaugurated for production on 5 February 2016 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. GAIL (India) Limited is the major promoter, with a 70% ownership investment, and the Government of Assam, Numaligarh Refinery, and Oil India own the remaining equity stakes. The plant now produces ethylene, propylene, linear low-density polyethylene, high-density polyethylene, and polypropylene, with two further production units for hydrogenated pyrolysis gasoline and 1-Butene under development.
