Chhavi Mittal who is an actor by profession who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer reveals on Instagram about her surgery. She uploaded a picture on her Instagram handle on Tuesday and captioned it, “woke up cancer free, the worst is over”.
Chhavi Mittal conquered her battle
Sharing a happy picture from morning she expressed her longing back her healthy life. She captioned her picture, “when the anaesthesiologist asked me to close my eyes and think of something nice, I visualized my beautiful breasts perfectly healthy. And then I went under, The next thing I know , I woke up cancer free. The surgery laster for six hours, there were multiple procedures done and it’s a long road to recovery., but the great thing is.. it is only going to be better now. The worst is over.”
Earlier this month, Chhavi Mittal detected a lump on her breasts and was diagnosed with early stage of cancer. She is best known for her performance in Bandini and her YouTube series, the better half. The actor struggled through her mental breakdown when she was first diagnosed and had multiple sleepless nights.
Similar to her case, there are multiple actors in the industry who were diagnosed with cancer and survived. Chhavi Mittal talks about her battle in one of her Instagram posts, “im horrified at the number of women who go through it. If I can do my bit in helping women detect cancer early.. Also, the challenge for women fighting breast cancer is emotional trauma. I want to show women that it doesn’t have to be so emotionally traumatic. If you have a good chance you should be positive about it. There is no point in crying about the things that are not in your control.”
