Ramadan month has started this year from today and will probably last till 2nd may 2022.
Ramadan starts today
As per the calender of the Islamic religion, the ramadan or the ramzaan month starts today. Every year before the celebration of Eid, a fasting period of about 29 to 30 days is kept. All musims around the globe eagerly wait for this month as it is very auspicious for them.
It is believed that Ramadan is the period of attaining spirituality as they have to surrender their heart and soul to the almighty.
The end of this fasting period is enjoyed with the celebration of a feast which is the Eid-ul-Fitr.
The dates for this year fasting starts today that is 2 nd April 2022, and will probably last for a month.
These dates are subected to change a per the holy month and the lunar cycle.
Hundreds and thousands of Muslims will now to the holy pilgrimage site which is called Mecca during the month of Ramzaan.
During the period of fasting or Roza they are not suppose to eat or drink after sunrise. after every meal before the sun rise and after the sun sets are followed by morning and evening prayers called the Fajr and Maghrib respectively.
