On Saturday, the world’s largest Monumental National Flag made up of Khadi will be put on a grand public display along the India-Pakistan Border in Rajasthan’s Longewala today to celebrate the “Army Day”.

According to a report by TimesNowNews, the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, the tricolour will be displayed at Longewala – the centre stage of the history between India and Pakistan in 1971.
70 Khadi artisans made prepared in 49 days
Additionally, the flag weighs around 1,400 kg and measures 225 feet long, 150 feet wide. Reportedly, 70 Khadi artisans prepared this flag in 49 days.
Previously, on December 4th, 2021, the Monumental National Flag was displayed at the Naval Dockyard near Gateway of India in Mumbai to celebrate Navy Day.
