Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, two of Bollywood’s biggest stars, have never left each other’s side, no matter what. They’ve been one other’s strongest supporters and have always stood by each other’s families in good times and bad.

Salman, who rarely pays visits to celebrities’ homes, recently arrived in Mannat to meet Gauri Khan and Shah Rukh after their son Aryan Khan was arrested in the alleged cruise drug raid case.

Viral video

An old video of the Khans is going viral just days after Salman stood by Shah Rukh’s family. Salman is heard in the video asking Shah Rukh if he has somebody who will be there for him through thick and thin.

In response, Shah Rukh stated that, in addition to being at his side, he is confident that Salman will always be with his family if they are in need.

“Salman yaar, mai agar kabhi trouble mei hu, mujhse zada meri family trouble mei hai, toh tum ho,” Shah Rukh told Salman, leaving the latter emotional. Salman responded: “Correct, wo toh hai.”

Emotional moment

Soon after, Salman approached Shah Rukh and hugged him. It was an emotional moment not just for the two Bollywood celebrities, but also for their devoted fans, who go crazy whenever photographs and videos of Shah Rukh and Salman appear on the internet.

Salman’s sister Alvira Agnihotri was recently caught visiting Gauri and Shah Rukh after Salman’s visit to Mannat.

Shah Rukh was one of the few celebs that visited Salman and his family at Galaxy Apartments when he was arrested in the blackbuck poaching case years ago.

Aryan Khan’s arrest

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) detained actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan, and three others on October 3 afternoon after hours of interrogation following a drug bust onboard a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai. Five more people were arrested and questioned.

Mr. Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, and Munmum Dhamecha were arrested and taken to Sir J.J. Hospital for medical exams before being returned to the NCB office.

They were charged under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, Sections 8C, 20B, and 27 read with Section 35. Sections 8 (c) and 20 (b) deal with drug possession, purchase, sale, and transportation; section 27 deals with drug use; and section 35 deals with drug dealing intent.

Officials from the NCB say they found 13g of cocaine, 5g of MD, 21g of charas, 22 pills of MDMA, and Rs. 1.33 lakh in cash. Raids for information on suppliers have also been conducted in the Belapur district of Navi Mumbai based on the information.

Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chhoker, and Gomit Chopra were also detained for questioning after an NCB mid-sea raid on board the Cordelia Cruise on its route to Goa on October 2nd.

According to agency sources, they received a tip about a party being held on the cruise by a private lifestyle and fashion channel, to which many VIPs were invited, roughly a fortnight ago.

Following that, 22 NCB officials were invited to board the ship as passengers. Over 1,800 people were expected to be on board, and NCB officials are expected to summon the party’s organizer for questioning, according to reports.

“We had exclusive information which needed to be verified and hence we entered the ship in disguise. After verifying the information, we conducted the raid and detained eight people. We are finding more information about the source of drugs. The whole case will have different layers and this is just the first layer. In coming days, more people could be detained and arrested,” said S.N. Pradhan, NCB chief.

Meanwhile, Mr. Jurgen Bailom, CEO and president, Waterways Leisure Tourism Pvt Ltd, said, “Using this statement, I wish to express that Cordelia Cruises is in no way, directly or indirectly, connected to this incident. Cordelia Cruises had chartered its ship for a private event to a Delhi-based event management company. Cordelia Cruises is extremely mindful of providing wholesome entertainment to families who choose to travel with us. This incident is contrarian and far from the culture that Cordelia Cruises represents. We, at Cordelia Cruises, condemn all acts such as these and will strictly refrain from letting our ship out for similar events in the future. Nonetheless, Cordelia Cruises is extending our full support and cooperating with the authorities.”
