The High Court of Allahabad ordered an inspection this April based on a petition filed by a group of women to pray at a Hindu shrine behind the western wall of the Gyanvapi Mosque Complex.
The High court ordered the completion of survey by 17th May.
As per reports from NDTV, Subhash Nandan Chaturvedi said, “locks will be broken to make way for the surveyors and action would be taken against anyone who tries to block the process.”
The lawyers of the Mosque Management Committee alleged that the court-appointed commissioner is biased.
